A theatre performance built from crowd sourced testimonials of gig work, exploring the experience of precarity in people’s working and private lives. The work will use accumulating, satellite narratives in search for a deeper vocabulary for precarious work and the creation of a log of claims.
This team of some of South Australia’s most exciting theatre artists, led by writer and maker Peter Beaglehole, will consider the frames of precarity, solidarity and the personal-political, utilising broad influences such as Tim Etchells’ performance instructions and the YouTube confessional, to develop this ambitious new work over the course of their Hart’s Mill residency and Adhocracy.
